Review | Lush BB Seaweed fresh face mask

Lately, I have been a little crazy about Lush’s fresh face masks because I was determined to try as many Lush masks as I can while I am in the UK. I have talked about the cheapest countries to get Lush products in my post previously.

So this time, I got this BB seaweed face mask. This mask serves to calm, deep cleanse and exfoliate your skin. I would be honest with you, I picked this one up just because I was attracted by the rose scent. The beautiful Rose scent comes from the Rose Absolut in the mask which has restorative and balancing properties.

The mask is white in color with a lot of bits and pieces in it, chunks of seaweed and ground almonds. The seaweed chunks are there to vitalize the skin, as in the legendary creme de la Mer. (You can read my detailed review here.) While the ground almond is there to act as an exfoliant to gently buff the surface of your skin.

Like most Lush’s fresh face masks, there is kaolin in it, meaning it’s going to deep cleanse your skin.

I normally use it once or twice a week. One thing you need to keep in mind is that these fresh face masks from LUSH have a shorter life span compare to the regular mask in a tube. Be sure that you use them all before the expiry date indicated on the bottom of the little black pot and always keep them refrigerated.

Since it has to be stored in the fridge, it makes the mask a pleasure to apply. It helps to cool down and sooth my skin on a warm day or after a busy day of work. It helps to minimize pores, probably because of the coldness. I am very happy with this mask, it makes my skin looks so healthy and fine after. And I don’t need to worry about the ingredients at all, everything is listed on the container and all ingredients in these masks are natural with no preservatives in it.

I would definitely repurchase this mask as I can see results in just one use and the price is very friendly. It doesn’t break the bank at all. I use face mask almost every day and I think for this mask when I divide the cost per use it is actually really cheap. I usually get about 6 to 10 use out of a pot depending on which masks you got specifically.
