I love a good mascara, I think I own more than 10 mascaras at the moment. It’s crazy. I know. But creating the perfect fluttering lashes, lash curler comes first for sure. Before I apply mascara I always always curl my lashes.
I have been using the one from Shiseido for 8 years since grade 9! But then one day I left it in a hotel, and I have switched to the Shu Uemura afterwards. And lately, I purchased the Shiseido curler again for my gym bag. So I have them both now. I have noticed the new Shiseido one is not exactly like the old one that I have. But it is still very good. (They must have updated it to a new version.) I have two Shu Uemura curler, one in silver, one in gold. They are both very very good. I had a very rough and stressful month at work and I couldn’t sleep well for weeks, my skin is definitely complaining! So I decided to save my skin and treat myself. I visited the Caudalie Spa twice last month, so now I can write a review to share with you guys. 🙂
The treatment I had was the VINOPERFECT RADIANCE FACIAL, for complexion Correcting & Anti-Dark Spot.
The boutique & spa is located on Gough Street, Central. I am sure anyone who knows Central and loves food will know where this street is. It’s kind of between Sheung Wan and Central. With quite a few nice restaurants and cafes dotting the street.
The ground floor is a boutique and the second floor is the spa area. Upon arrival I was greeted by one of their staff, and once I told them I am here for a treatment, I was led into the waiting area with a cup of tea. They gave me a form to fill in for my first visit to be sure that I am not allergic to what is used in the following treatment. Then I was led to the treatment room on the second floor. The treatment room is quite big to Hong Kong standard and there are only two rooms. The atmosphere is quiet and tranquil, which makes you forget that you’re actually in Central, the busiest area in town.

Continuing the long shopping items from Japan! This is another hero product that I like! I know! It is crazy its just cotton pads in a way, we use them on a daily basis, morning and night, not only using it to remove makeup but also to apply toner, sometimes essencea and even use as a DIY facial mask by soaking a few pieces of them in your essence and apply them to your face for an emergency pick me up session.
The material is ultra soft and ultra fluffy! You can find this cotton pad easily in any drugstore in Tokyo, I happened to get at the Matsumoto Kiyoshi pharmacy right outside Ikebukuro station.

Kashoen is like the Hermes of makeup brushes in Japan. It has been producing exceptional quality makeup brushes for 130 years, using traditional craftsmanship.
