I have had great food every sing day I spent in Osaka and Kyoto in this trip. So on the last day of my trip, I was really craving some healthy food, something that is clean and easy on the body. Seriously, I have had way too much meat than I’m supposed to for the past few days. All those grill Kobe beef and wagyu were so delicious but I also feel kind of bloated because of the amount of meat I have consumed.
Then, I found this place called Protein Lab in Shinsaibashi, it was located in such a hipster area, with lots of indie shops, vintage clothing shops and boutiques.
The interior and seatings are modern and simple, with pink booth seats on one side, and the rest is the tables and chairs you see in the above photos.
I love the food there! The ingredients are very fresh and I can feel that relieve of my body after almost one week of constant eating!
There are also a lot of dressings for you to choose from which I love, because many of the flavors are very unique and Japanese, which are very different from the typical western dressings. So I tried a Yuzu sauce and a ginger dressing, and both were so refreshing!
Check this place out, if you happen to be looking for clean and healthy food in Osaka!
