Since I have moved to Newcastle I have been trying out different beauty salon. This time, I went to id your beauty on Pilgrim street in the heart of Newcastle.
The salon is really lovely, it has a cozy home feeling to it with antique furniture and fireplaces.

It has a treatment room and another separate nail art area. The salon is run by two ladies, Ingrid who is a professional facialist; and Dionne who is a nail artist.

I went there for a Dermalogica facial with Ingrid. I love that Ingrid is a really detailed person. She thoroughly cleansed my skin and also asked me what I use in my daily routine. She then goes on to examine my skin and took a closer look and then determined what treatment would be most suitable for my skin’s need. It is a truly tailored to your need or concerns.
This 75 mins facial includes cleanse, tone, exfoliation, steam, mask, massage and finish with moisturizer.
I am really impressed by her skills and she is by far the best facialist I have come across since I have moved to Newcastle. I love her face massage especially. She would press firmly on the pressure points and it is really really relaxing. She explains all the steps for me during the facial as well.
I also quite like the treatment room, it is really private and nicely decorated. Ingrid is a devoted Chanel fan. So there are lots of Chanel perfume bottles dotting around the treatment room.
The verdict? I would definitely recommend Ingrid and id your beauty if you are looking for a professional facial. The price I paid for this treatment is £35, which is very reasonable for a 75 mins treatment.

They have a standing sign put out right in front of the entrance, and it is right beside the bus station.
