So I have place my order last Thursday night for a Pyrenex down jacket at half price! And I got it delivered on Monday! Which is quick, given I picked the free delivery options, which is suppose to come in 3 to 5 days. (By the way, “3 to 5 days” means working day or everyday? Anyone knows?) I am pretty happy with the delivery speed anyways, given it is shipped from France to the UK.

Onto the jacket! When the package came in the mail, it was very neatly packed and once I opened it, it was wrapped by tissue paper delicately, with the brand sticker to seal it. Once I released the sticker, there lies my brand new cream color Pyrenex down jacket!

It’s a jacket with 90% duck down with a detachable hood in beautiful and feminine light cream color, and a pocket on each side. It also has a black color belt with metal closure across the waist line to accentuate the body shape. I use to dislike down jacket, because most of them make me look so puffy and I feel like I have no shape at all wearing down jacket.

I am already a petite Asian girl, the last thing I want is to feel like a giant fat snowball rolling around the street. But since I moved to Newcastle, it is so cold and windy here, my other non-down jacket is heavy for me to wear everyday. That’s why I decided to get this down jacket.

Anyways, this jacket is very lightweight, and because it has the belt to accentuate the waist line, it gives you a nice silhouette. It looks really nice pair with my favorite skinny jeans and knee-high boots! Just perfect for everyday out and about! Going to the market, wearing it over my yoga outfit, going to work, date……etc.

Overall, very happy with my purchase!
