Balmain X H&M with leading models Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid & Jourdan Dunn

The Balmain and H&M collaboration was confirmed in May this year and it has been long waited by Balmain fans (or people who love Balmain but just simply cannot afford them). Balmain is very expensive and their collaboration will be the most expensive designer collaboration ever!

Balmain is very expensive, because the brand has a lot of designs with embroidery and the way they produce items are very traditional.

In this collection, an embroidered dress will cost you $649! Which is crazy expensive if you are comparing it to the previous designer collaboration, but it is a fraction of the real Balmain label.

Of course, with the expensive Balmain label, you can expect the most luxurious materials and impeccable cutting and construction. You get what you pay for with Balmain. But will you get what you pay for with HMBalmaination?

The real Balmain! Look at that embroidery!

The much waited Balmain X H&M collaboration had held their Catwalk and Party in a former bank on Wall Street in a New York City. Rousteing transformed the venue into a train station #Balmaination and his leading model, Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid & Jourdan Dunn are there to lead the rest of the models.

Back street boys were there to perform some of their greatest hits and there was a pop up store too.

Let’s look at some of the best looks from the Catwalk. Balmain X H&M Balmain X H&M-2 Balmain X H&M-3 Balmain X H&M-4

Would you go for the crossover collection? Or do you think it is still too expensive?

  1. Maintenance is the greater evil for me. With heavy embroidery, after 1 wash, the garment will not look the same. I hate puckering. Will only buy it if I plan to never wash it lol. How about you?
