I have been in love with ESPA‘s Optimal skin procleanser! I got a bunch of products from ESPA after I had a facial with them at John Lewis Newcastle in early December, just before my photoshoot. The facial was so so so good and relaxing, and also leaves me with radiant skin. I will review the experience in my next blog post.

First of all, it smells gorgeous and opulent! The scent is so relaxing and spa-like, I just feel like I am in my own personal spa whenever I use this face wash. The product comes in a gel texture with little jojoba spheres in it, which gently exfoliate before it melts away to nourish your skin. I just love the jojoba spheres in there, and I think this design is so smart and innovative!

ESPA describes the product as “Advanced Tri-Phase cleansing for naturally radiant beautiful skin”, which the products really delivers what it claims.

First of all, it deeply cleanses your skin and removes makeup with moringa seed extract. Then, with the jojoba spheres, it gently exfoliate your skin before it melts away to condition and nourish your skin. Last but not least, the pumpkin enzymes helps to eliminate any dull skin to reveal a radiant and healthy complexion.

This face wash also a 2 in 1 product, it can be used as a brightening mask as well. You can use it daily as a normal facewash, and twice a week when you have a little more time, you can leave it on for 15 mins as a mask. When you use it as a mask it allows more time for the ingredients to sink in and work on a deeper level, especially for the pumpkin enzymes to have time to deeply penetrate your skin to get rid of the dull cells.

This Procleanser leaves my skin really soft and nourished every time! My skin feels soft, plumped, and radiant. It made me feel so good that sometimes I even forgot to put on serums and mafterward afterwards, because just the cleanser alone made my skin really feel really smooth and nourished already. There is no dry and tight feeling at all after using this face wash. A total win!
